The conversation around curly hair is often overwhelming, confusing and hard to understand.  And it shouldn’t be! I like to keep things simple.

Products play a huge role in achieving your desired curly style.

My curly hair ritual is one that starts with a cleansing cream.  A cleansing cream is gentler than traditional shampoos and conditioners on curls.   They provide hydration and prevent frizz.  My three go to’s are:

• R+Co Analog (light weight)
• Lure Soft As Cashmere Cleansing Cream (medium weight)
• Oribe Cleansing Crème (heavy weight).

I recommend treatments every other week,  Oribe Moisture and Control Masque and/or Olaplex #3.

Styling products change season to season and depend on current trends.

R+Co Twister is my favourite curl primer.  The perfect product to start with before layering other products.

I am loving the 70’s vibe happening with hair right now so Oribe Curl Shaping Mousse is my go-to.  It provides volume, bounce and soft control.  This product will not weigh your curls down. 

If your curls are shorter and need a bit more weight but you still want fullness, R+Co Aircraft is amazing.  

Finishing is a personal choice.  I love R+Co High Dive because it hydrates and reforms any frizz created by diffusing.  But if it’s an evening out, I recommend what I call hairspray for curly hair – Oribe Après Beach. This provides shine and texture all in one”.
